Please note that the following is Rachel Crichlow's concept of the ad, prior to discussion with her group members. Therefore any of it is subject to change within the next 24 hours.
Concept: A television advertisement for an Anti-Bullying Campaign inspired by the recent tragic occurrence in Barbados where a young life was lost as a result of bullying.
Estimated time: 3 minutes for the ad itself. However, the length of the documentary aspect at the end which will feature the father of the bullying victim is yet unknown and can only be fully determined after this interview has taken place.
Also, in the event that we are unable to feature the father in this piece, the next option is to feature actual victims of bullying (about 2 -3 depending on who is willing to share), to tell their stories briefly.
Target Audience: School community [Students, parents and teachers]
Synopsis: 3 main characters individually tell their stories but it is pieced together like a collage so that their 3 individual stories converge to create 1 story.
Visually it consists of these individuals partially hidden as they reflect, combined with images of what they are telling.
